The Civil Service Commission Open Week 2014
Thank you to everybody who contributed to our open week . The questions we got covered a wide variety of topics and there were some interesting and thought-provoking comments.
Our open week page has all the published questions and answers for the week.
We would also like to thank all those who contributed to the public consultation on our Recruitment Principles. We are now considering all the replies we received and will be publishing our conclusions towards the end of March.
The Civil Service Commission regulates recruitment to the Civil Service, providing assurance that appointments are on merit after fair and open competition. It also helps promote the Civil Service values of Honesty, Integrity, Objectivity and Impartiality, and hears complaints under the Civil Service Code. The Commission is independent of Government and the Civil Service.
